Don't miss this opportunity to hear **Red River Historian Robin Cole-Jett relate tales of spooky North Texas folklore!

The fun includes fall refreshments and a  pumpkin carving contest. Bring your best carved pumpkin for a chance to win a prize. 

Due to anticipated weather and ground conditions, this event will be held in the Library MultiPurpose Room from 5-7 p.m.

This event is sponsored by the Library's Local History Committee and is free to the public.

Copies of the committee's book, Bridges to the Future, will be available for sale for $10. Donations accepted as well!

Bridges Cemetery is at the corner of Morning Star and Chesapeake Drive in The Colony.

** Robin Cole-Jett presents: Documented Spirits: Hear tales from old timers about winged creatures, poisonous potions, and spirit avengers from the North Texas prairies in a compilation of ghostly tales gleaned from the Library of Congress.

Historian and writer Robin Cole-Jett runs the website, Red River Historian, to document the places "where the South meets the West". She teaches history at North Central Texas College.
